A Java runtime library supplies static methods for license validation, online activation, deactivation and validation. When setting up, there is a wizard that helps generate licenses and license templates. All types of software licensing methods with auto/manual license activation is supported by this tool. One copy of the license manager can help you with all software licensing solutions. The package supplied includes Online.License4J subscription that lets you support online license generation, activation and deactivation. The online account creates a one thousand license limit. You can auto generate licenses with http posts and activate licenses online.

License4J can generate license text, floating license text and license keys. License text can be plain text. Serial numbers are generated based on a customer name or company or both. It can also be unrelated to anything specific to the customer; totally random. It has a free floating license server application. This license server hosts and generates floating licenses. Floating licenses can be installed, updated, deleted and monitored locally or remotely with Floating License Server Administration GUI tool. Floating License Server and Administration GUI can be fully customized and internalized. This is a very good tool.
