Networking is today the lifeline of all the remote communication that takes place among various devices like computers, phones, tablets, palms etc. Modern networks have come to the reach of almost each and every user who try to make use of these networks to establish remote communications. Many large organizations maintain their own networks consisting of various servers and clients to take advantage of internal customizations and enhanced security over the in-house network of computers. Like every other functionality, communication over these networks also require sufficiency of hardware along with software. If you are a developer and want to design applications for client and server components connected to a network, then you must use Client/Server Comm Lib for dBASE v.6.1.
Client/Server Comm Lib for dBASE by Marshall Soft Computing is a shareware component for designing client and server applications for establishing network communication over UDP/IP and TCP/IP networks. The component uses Windows Application Programming Interface for communicating over all other applications on the entire network. The component can connect to any other device on the network by sending commands to the IP address of the device. The data files that need to be transferred over these networks can be secured with encryptions in order to avoid any adversities due to leakage. With this program, the user can send and receive entire files over the network and data buffers and the servers can handle multiple connections and transfers simultaneously through the desktop application. If you want to avoid overloading of server due to large number of connections, then you can also specify the maximum number of connections that the server will handle.
Client/Server Comm Lib for dBASE v.6.1 is overall, a nice component tool for clients and servers over a shared network in a specified area, leading it to score three and a half rating points on the scale of five.
