Qnext seems to evolve every release.
Why I first switched many years ago from Trillion while Qnext was in its Long beta releases, was simple!
When my daughter decided to try Trillion, I found what seemed like 100 more buddies, and I got tired of "Who are You?"
Qnext has separate folders for each user.
What has charged this release: Games are gone but projected to return, File sharing folders/photos/music are still there, but shared in a more POWERFUL Way, called Web Casts.
How many times would like to share files/photos/music but could Not, because a family member or friend does not use the software you are using (sometimes more than you would like)?!
With Qnext 3.0 Web Casts you send a link to their email, or IM program, They click on the link and view your photos 2 to 200 (there is an option called TagBoard) so if you send the photo album to multiple friends each can place comments for all to read.
All the person(s) you are sending the web cast to needs is a Browser to view or download files, the jukebox has been updated, and is still being fine tuned with each release.
Qnext works with the latest Operating Systems for Windows /MAC / and Linux!
Qnext is a Universal Messenger and currently works with the Yahoo, AIM, MSN and ICQ.
The reason for a 4 Star and not a 5 is the messenger area is Clean and soled, but basic and could use, fine tuning improvements and new features.
A survey was taken and the IM part of Qnext was what was most requested for enhancements in the next release.
Qnext still uses encryption and the server is ONLY used to sign on then chatting and file transfers or direct user to user.
NO limit on file sizes, even unthinkable large files%
