Although instant messaging is TeamMessenger’s core benefit, it is not the only powerful feature in the product. For anyone thinking of instant unified communication, they should look at the other (often overlooked) toolset that TeamMessenger brings.
Let’s face it – online collaboration is the wave of the future. From forums to blogs to social networking, putting our brains and resources together on the Internet has produced some wonderful results. TeamMessenger extends this spirit into the enterprise industry and right on our desktops and laptops.
TeamMessenger allows for controlled participation, which is often difficult in large groups. Sure, there are over fifty people in my research team. However, TeamMessenger’s instant messaging lets me see then whole team (along with the ways to reach them) but also lets me interact in smaller groups or one-on-one. Therefore, while I can broadcast a problem to the entire group, I can also receive responses on a smaller scale. This makes it easy to keep track of who said what (including a built-in conversation log) but also focus on what they contributed. You don’t get this same type of switching between macro to micro in a conference room.
In addition, TeamMessenger has made it easier to review activities and discussions that everyone has weighed in on before we make any critical decisions.
