Version control and review tool based on Subversion.

This is a tool that creates an easy to use environment based on Subversion, the open source version control solution. The tool adds a graphic user interface on top of Subversion. Programmers are able to manage version control of their source code. This tool will also help you review the code deposited quite easily. This tool is also integrated with a XMPP client. Integration with this tool helps people to connect to the code base and review the code and comment on the same. When working with open source projects the development team could publish and control their code. They will be able to collect user feedback like bug reports, execution results, and suggestions etc. Inside a company environment, the development team will be able to record their ideas, store their work, and exchange views through instant messages.

For individual developers GTalkabout is also useful as a tool that can help record their work, create milestones, and track modifications. The interface will make three buttons available that are labeled as 3rd party project, team development and My local project. The 3rd party project button lets you access a remote subversion repository with read-only permission. Read-write access of a remote subversion repository is available through the team development button. My Local Project button will create a local repository to revision control your data. This tool makes control of Subversion quite easy and consequently the control of revisions also become easy. Multiple users could work simultaneously on the same repository. It is possible to link messages to parts of the code. A history log collects all changes made. It is possible to work off-line too. This is a very good tool.

GTalkabout is an integrated XMPP(Jabber) client that lets programmer across the world discuss source code through internet or intranet. Source code need under version control using subversion.
