Timing Tasker is ideal for keeping track of time spent on daily tasks for the user. It can track your time spent on computer easily. Timing Tasker also has a feature that will ask you what you are working on after specified intervals of time.

Pros: Timing Tasker is a handy software that help you automatically shutdown, power off, reboot, hibernate, suspend or log off computers at scheduled times and execute or prohibit some tasks that you specify.

There are several ways one can schedule shutdowns. It could be daily at specified times or at the end of a specified process. It can send a message or play music when the shutdown starts. Depending on if you are off site or near the system you are aware that the machine has gone into the shutdown process.

Similar timed/ scheduled initiation of restart, standby lock the machine or the monitor shutdown can be initiated. Customize prompt message, alarm sound, delay and countdown duration during shutdown. Starting scheduled tasks(include executing program, opening file, open web site, timing shutdown and timing reminder) is easy as is setting forbidden tasks(include prohibiting program and prohibiting boot).

System can automatically check with internet time servers and maintain system time there by avoiding fiddling with system time by anyone. Overall security is provided by password protection so that nobody else can change anything on the system. Through the prohibit program one can prevent anyone modifying the registry or force ending of tasks via the task manager. Set hotkeys easily.

Cons: Many of the system messages and parameters on the user interaction panel pages needs to be polished up, currently they are not very clear quite often.

Overall this is a fairly easy to use application. A 3 star rating seems appropriate.
