This freeware tool can help you create multiple profiles for your POP and STMP servers and can easily shift working from one profile to other from your computer by itself acting as a local relay server. In addition to managing different servers this tool also filters all your email headers. It reads all the sent and received mails from your computer for their email headers and tallies them with the specified headers. As soon as any header matches the header in its record it notifies the user and helps to do the needful.

It can do various things like editing the header for corrections and replacements, deleting it and other changes in the header. The specialty of this tool is that it can work even as the NT service. Now that’s what an assistant is!

X-Ray Mail Assistant is an email header filter and POP/SMTP server switching tool. It runs as a local POP/SMTP relay server and scans your incoming and/or outgoing mail for user specified mail headers. Once it finds a match it can change the header, remove it, replace it or perform some other special modifications. In addition, the program allows you to set up multiple profiles for POP and SMTP servers and switch between them from the system tray. X-Ray can also run as an NT service.
