This is an application that creates a PDF formatted document out of any application that can print documents and is routed through this software tool. You could, optionally, also create image files out of those printable documents.
ImagePrinter Pro is installed as a virtual printer driver and works as a converter for printable documents to be converted to PDF or one of many image formats. Applications like the Word, Excel or the PowerPoint would be able to create these PDF or images out of the document being printed from the application. Image formats supported include BMP, GIF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PDF, TIFF,PNG image , DjVu, SWF, etc. Other related image processing tasks this application can handle include Thumbnails images, Watermarks, Rotate image, etc. Output applications include FTP, TCP and sending of emails. When this option is enabled, the resulting file(s) will be automatically uploaded to your server after the printing process finishes. The new files in the hot folder are automatically uploaded using the FTP protocol.
The interface is simple and straightforward. Settings are grouped under tabs and are arranged on the left of the main screen. As each tab is selected, it opens up the settings available; user needs to choose according to convenience. These tabs are system, image processing, file format, email, and delivery. The about tab has the standard meaning as with all other applications. After settings are done for an option, you are ready to start getting documents printed. All standard paper sizes are supported, that include A0, A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, Letter, Legal, Ledger, Tabloid, etc. Resolutions supported include 80, 100, 120, 200, 240, 300, 400 and 600.
